I sometimes delude myself into believing that I scorn all earthly possessions. More honestly I am among the greediest people that I know. If I hunger, I wish to feast upon the finest literature. My thirst is quenched only by a golden sun that pours itself upon vast natural landscapes. When I stare up at the night sky illuminated by the diamond pins of star light I long to possess that view every night. I ache to surround myself with the people who may understand that sleeping on dirt can be the most indulgent thing, when you are wrapped up warmly against the bite of frost.
